Christmas 2019

Alright time for some pictures of our Christmas 2019. It was an absolutely great Christmas full of fun, friends and food. Kathy on Sandstar named it “The Merriment of Meat” since it involved 2 roasts with all kinds of different meat. There was Turkey, Lamb, Pork and sausages.

DISCLAIMER – I took none of these pictures. All these photos are mash up of photos taken by Sandstar, Sophie, Mimzi and Sunsplash. Thank you for the great pictures. Yes, they have much better camera’s than I do.

No Christmas party is complete without a tree.

Or the “Pig Box”.. However, there were only pig ribs this time, not a whole pig.

Dinner is served.

4

The Merriment of Meat wouldn’t be complete with a “Meat House”, no gingerbread house here.

5

Post meat coma in progress.

6

Pretty Ladies.

7

Then it was time for Christmas games.. Ahh, that tree wasn’t just a decoration.

8

Of course Katie made a piƱata.. Why not, its Christmas.

Everyone got a whack at it.

There were other games as well.

14

And more games 15

And still more games. This one had gifts for each kid.

16

Our kids were pretty spoiled this year.

I’m glad its not going in my washing machine.

It was a heck of a nice sunset.

I think there were a few missing from this photo as they had already left.

Bravo!! That looks like a fantastic celebration. We had a little more low-key celebration here at St. George’s but Gigi was back and together we made my long-time eggnog recipe, snagging two dozen eggs before they disappeared (the demand at Christmas is greater than the chickens can supply so they traditionally run out). Gigi baked cookies and so Santa had a tipple and a snack before leaving Last Tango. Great post, we love and miss you all!

Mike…. We missed you guys up here.. I was holding out a little hope that you would get up here this year and maybe hang out for a bit. However, I’m very glad to hear that you and Gigi got to spend Christmas together. I hope Gigi is feeling better.

Sigh… by now you may have seen some of the posts about our boat. I was hoping we could have a last drink with you guys. Who knows, maybe that will happen somewhere else as we have no idea where we are going and what we are doing!

We’ll share some tales over a beer or two, no worry. Where and when remains to be seen. Adventures await!
